A video that recaps the lives of the bride and groom.
This video is typically shown with a projector at the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. It's put together from photos and videos provided by the bride and groom and their friends and family.

About the Rehearsal Dinner Video
It's fairly common at wedding rehearsal dinners to show a video that recaps the lives of the bride and groom. My videos are much more than just "slide shows." They zoom and pan through the still images to give the effect of a movie made from the still photos, kind of like the Ken Burns' videos done on PBS. If you want such a video, then I would be happy to put one together for you. Here's the way it works:
You provide me with photos you want to include in the video. They can be prints or digital photos, or even movies if you've already got the movies in a format that can be viewed on a personal computer.
You need to tell me how long you want the video to be, and give me any ideas you have on how you want that time to be allocated. For example, you might have a 15 minute video that includes 5 minutes each of the bride and groom before they met, and 5 minutes of their lives together.
If you know what music you want to use, give me the names of the songs and artists. Or even better, provide me with music CDs that contain the music you want to use. If you don't know exactly what songs you want, then give me some idea of the mood you want to create, and I'll help you select the right music.
I'll carefully scan the prints you give me so that I've got everything on a computer. Then I'll put together a draft video that includes the photos and the music.
I'll review the draft video with you (over the Internet if you like), and I'll make any changes you request. Then I'll prepare a final DVD that can be used for the rehearsal dinner.
If you like, you can show the DVD yourself using whatever projector/TV and audio equipment you have available at the rehearsal dinner location. Or if you prefer, I'll bring a projector, screen and audio equipment, and I'll show the video myself.
You can get as many copies of the DVD as you want. The DVD will be enclosed in a case with your choice of photos and wording on the outside. They make great gifts for friends and family members who attend the wedding.
The price for creating the video depends on a number of factors, including the number of photos, the amount of effort required for me to scan and adjust prints, the number of songs, and the overall length of the video. You can generally expect to pay between $500 and $1,000 for a typical video, but I'll be happy to give you a specific estimate before we start. Three copies of the DVD are included in the price, and additional copies of the DVD are available for $10 each when ordered with the video, or $25 each when ordered later.
If you want me to show the video myself at your event, then there's an additional charge based on a number of factors. The price for showing the video is typically between $300 and $500. This includes my time, as well as the use of my projector, screen and audio equipment.
