Event Pricing
Flexible pricing to accommodate your taste and needs

Events include social events and business events (see sample photos). Weddings are priced separately. (Click here for wedding prices). There are two standard pricing options. You'll probably prefer the first option unless you want photos of a business event where you want to use the photos on your web site or for publicity. I am also happy to put together a package price for your event if you'll tell me what you would like in the package. Here are the two standard pricing options; contact me if you want a package price.

1. You can pay to have photographs taken at an hourly rate. Proofs of these images will be provided to you for viewing over the Internet, or you can get a spiral-bound proof book for an extra $100, with multiple images per page. Choose the images for your prints and album from the Internet proofs or from the proof book. Or you may purchase rights for just the images you want to use.
2. You can pay a higher hourly rate and get a CD with the images from the event, together with a proof book with multiple images per page. Under this option, you are granted full rights to use the photographs however you please, with one exception: you're not allowed to sell the photos. If you wish, you can still order prints from me for these images.

In either case there is no separate charge for photographer transportation to and from the first (and usually only) site and session as long as you're within the metro Atlanta area, nor is there a charge for the time spent setting up equipment or packing it up afterwards. Hourly charges do apply, however, to transportation and setup/packup time for the second and subsequent sites and/or sessions if you require multiple sites or multiple sessions.

In typical event photo sessions, approximately 100 - 300 photos will be taken during each hour of the session.

 

Pricing Option 1: Base Rate, then Order Prints and/or Rights

• Photo session rate - $300 for the first hour or less, and $150 for each half hour or less beyond the first hour
• Print prices for prints "as photographed," with color correction and brightness/contrast adjustment
  • 4x5, 4x6, or 5x7 print - $10
  • 8x10 print - $20
  • 11x14 print, mounted and ready for framing - $40
  • 16x20 print, mounted and ready for framing - $85
  • 20x24 print, mounted and ready for framing - $120
  • 24x30 print, mounted and ready for framing - $170
  • 30x40 print, mounted and ready for framing - $250
  • 8x10 framed print - $85, or $135 if printed on canvas
  • 11x14 framed print - $110, or $160 if printed on canvas
  • 16x20 framed print - $185, or $285 if printed on canvas
  • 20x24 framed print - $220, or $320 if printed on canvas
  • 24x30 framed print - $385, or $535 if printed on canvas
  • 30x40 framed print - $510, or $660 if printed on canvas
• Print prices for "enhanced" prints, which include appropriate retouching in addition to color correction and brightness/contrast adjustment. Depending on the photo, this may include general cosmetic improvement, reduction of glare on eyeglasses, blemish removal, opening closed eyes, and wrinkle reduction.
  • Add $100 to the "as photographed" prices as a one-time charge for each image for which enhanced prints are requested. This single $100 charge covers any number of prints from that one image.
• Rights to use images "as photographed"
  • One-time non-exclusive use of an image for any purpose other than for selling photos - $100
  • Unlimited non-exclusive use of an image for any purpose other than for selling photos - $200
• Rights to use "enhanced" images, which include the same retouching that would be applied to an image used for an "enhanced" print.
  • Add $100 to the "as photographed" prices as a one-time charge for each image for which rights or prints are requested. This single $100 charge covers any number of uses and prints from that one image.

Pricing Option 2: Higher Rate and Get a CD of Images, together with the right to use them yourself

This option is primarily for business events.

• Photo session rate - $600 for the first hour or less, and $300 for each half hour or less beyond the first hour
• One copy of the image CD and proof book is included. Extra copies are available at a price of $100 per 300 images.

If you want to order prints from me, the prices for the prints are the same as for pricing option 1. There is a $100 charge per image for "enhanced" prints.

 

Albums

Albums of various types and sizes are available at extra cost. Each album is custom-designed to meet your requirements, and I can provide you with a price quote after we've discussed your needs. Prices for albums start at $500.

 

Notes

1. If images are to be published, then model releases for people, animals, objects or locations in the images are the customer's responsibility.
2. These prices do not include Georgia sales tax or shipping & handling, so the actual total price will be slightly higher. Prices are subject to change.

Payment Terms

A reservation fee equal to a one-hour photo session under your pricing option is due in advance and is required to book a session; this reservation fee is non-refundable, but will be applied toward your charges. The balance of the session charge is due when the session is held. Payment for additional prints is due when the items are ordered. The price you pay will be based on the current price as of the signature date of a written agreement, and that price will be guaranteed until thirty days after your session date. Any orders or reprints after that will be charged at the current price in effect as of the date of the order.

For certain corporate customers the advance fee is waived, and payment is due after the session when the invoice is received by the customer.
